Donate to Our Foundation

We are looking for patrons who would like to support the Library by donating to the
Slave Lake Municipal Library Fund.

Donations to the Slave Lake Municipal Library Fund will be held in perpetuity with disbursements made annually to fund the Slave Lake Library's collection.

Donating is easy:  Simply click on the picture below and it will take you to the Community Foundation of Northwestern Alberta.  Then identify the Slave Lake Municipal Library Fund as the fund you wish to donate.

Library News

October sure is a busy month at the library!

We've changed up our Youth Night to be a 3 days a week After School Club, and Puzzles and Games has become Interactive Playtime! We're also doing a Board Game Night every other Thursday! We hope to see you there!

And our Haunted House returns for its third...

We're currently selling some resuable library bags! Perfect for carrying your books too and from the library, as well as anything else!

Bags are currently selling for $5.00!


If you haven't had a chance to see them yet, drop by the library to see the brand new couches we got for our youth area! These were purchased through the Indigenous Grant, along with many of the First Nations books you can find in the library!


Join us on September 1st at 7:00 PM at the Smith Community Complex for a fun filled evening of song and stories with Mary Lambert!
